When foundation walls start cracking, bowing or moving inward, it is a sign of structural failure which should be addressed immediately to prevent further damage and large repair costs. Walls can start to bow for many reasons, and environmental conditions play a significant role; however, the primary causes for bowing walls are:

  • Outside hydrostatic pressure on the walls from soil
